EYEVAN | SS19 | WOMACK | TORT
Eyevan was created in 1972. The inspiration for the collection was taken from a variety of things such as vintage eyewear, telescopes, hand mirrors and old tools.
For example, temple comes from French cutlery in 1940s, metal frame comes from structure of eye test equipment in 1970s and its parts are inspired by arabesque patterns of old Japanese temples.
Only the most skilful craftsmen from Sabae can take the production through the 400 processes it takes to complete an EYEVAN frame.
